Inventor Apprentice Server 2026

Information about Apprentice Server 2026 was extensively described on the Autodesk Typepad blogs. Since Typepad closed, the blogs have also disappeared. A key point in this blog was the situation with multiple Inventor versions. If you work in Inventor 2026 and later in Inventor 2025, Apprentice Server 2025 becomes active again and remains so. You must then switch it manually because this doesn’t happen when starting Inventor 2026. To do this, enter the following line in Windows Run:

C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor Apprentice Server 2026\Bin\ApprenticeRegSvr.exe /install
